Tendon Master - 9.0mm TeFIX

If you're in the market for a lightweight sport climbing rope but are also partial to a touch of alpine climbing, the Tendon Master 9.0mm ticks the boxes thanks to its TeFIX® and Complete Sheild Technology.
Providing the maximum level of rope protection against water and abrasion, Tendon's Complete Technology provides added protection to your climbing rope, making use of the new progressive NANOTECHNOLOGY method. Tiny particles of TEFLON®Eco are applied to the rope sheath and core and make a film of an almost impermeable protective layer. The rope fibres are then protected against dust and water which would otherwise cause harm to the rope construction. COMPLETE SHIELD is an impregnation that extends the general lifespan of TENDON ropes significantly.
Alongside this, Tendon's TeFIX® patented technology permanently bonds the sheath to the core and prevents slippage between these two basic rope parts. This particular feature was reached by adding a special material between core and sheath. This extra material is later also processed so that the bond is flexible and strong. The rope has a 0% sheath slippage, much longer lifespan, and better handling.
On top of this, Tendon's special technology has been utilized for the ends of the rope, where the core stand and the sheath are connected into one unit, whilst at the half-length,the rope is visibly marked by coloured band, which does not affect the core structure and its mechanical properties.
